    Who we are

    CCH Weddings + Events is a full service event planning company specializing in custom events ranging from intimate weddings to elaborate galas.  Recognizing that attention to detail and perfect execution are the fundamentals of all memorable events, we deliver just that—unforgettable affairs.

    Director of Events, Alexandra Calvet, is a visionary in the event planning industry. She lends her expert touch and creativity to transform client ideas into cohesive event concepts that appeal not only to clients, but more importantly, to guests. She consistently offers an individual take on event trends and design concepts. Her level of experience ensures that each element is anticipated and planned and that every event unfolds seamlessly.

    CCH Weddings + Events has received notoriety in the wedding industry and a reputation for unparalleled service. One of the most coveted of our recognitions is the Brides Choice Award on Weddingwire.com.  Any recognition is a product of the hard work and dedication that goes into each event. Alexandra carefully oversees every stage of every event and makes herself available to clients 24/7.

    We are Central Florida experts, having coordinated or attended an event at nearly every available venue in the area. Over the years we have developed strong relationships with venues and apart from knowing the ins and outs of these sites, we have the exclusive rights to some of them. We are the exclusive venue sales rights of Rix Lounge and Orlando Harley-Davidson. Because we are a sister company of CCH Marketing + Events, LLC, we also offer venue and event marketing.

    Our full range of services includes event design, wedding planning, day of coordination, birthdays, vow renewals, bat/bar mitzvahs, anniversaries, holiday parties, and corporate parties.     Prior to meeting with CCH, I met with a few other wedding planners, none of them presented with the professionalism of CCH. From my very first meeting with Alexandra I felt that I was putting my wedding in the best hands possible, and since I had a very short time frame (8 months from proposal to "I do") and a very busy schedule (I was a first year law student), that connection was crucial. Alexandra executed beautifully. She was there for every meeting and checked in with me periodically throughout the planning process. I will admit I was less than organized and relied heavily on Alexandra to assist with the selection of everything from table layout to linens and flowers. She was organized and on top of every question I had, somtimes even before I could ask. When the final fews days arrived Alexandra was more than I could have asked for. I ended up having a few problems with the owner of my wedding venue and Alexandra stepped in and took control of the situation. Alexandra was able to pull things together to make my day absolutely memorable, despite less than perfect circumstances. I would recommend CCH to anyone of my friends or family members planning a wedding or event.

    Working with CCH Weddings + Events was truly a blessing. Talk about a one-stop shop for all your wedding needs. Alexandra helped me from the beginning to the end. Starting with the location for our wedding, she was by my side assisting me with every detail. Alexandra accompanied me to all of my appointments with the vendors, she thoroughly negotiated our contracts, organized and kept track of our guest list, and planned the rehearsal dinner. ( I could go on forever) Every time I was nervous or had a question, she was able to respond to me very quickly. I felt completely at ease on my wedding day.     Alexandra Calvet was my wedding event coordinator and she did an amazing job. I was very stressed out about all of the details and Alexandra had a way to calm me down and provide me with the necessary information/tools to make our wedding spectacular! I had a difficult time making decisions and she was fabulous at sending me pictures of color schemes that I was interested in at the time and then when I changed my mind she sent me new ideas! She had great ideas that made our day very special and everyone is still talking about our wedding! She provided me with wonderful vendor names as well.     Alexandra Calvet is the Director of Events for both CCH Weddings + Events and CCH Marketing + Events. She graduated from the University of Central Florida where she studied at the Rosen College for Hospitality. Alexandra and her team of planning professionals specialize in custom events ranging from intimate weddings to elaborate galas. Recognizing that attention to detail and perfect execution are the fundamentals of all memorable events, she prides herself on delivering just that—unforgettable affairs.

    Alexandra is a visionary. She lends her expert touch and creativity to transform client ideas into cohesive event concepts that appeal not only to her clients but more importantly, to guests. She consistently offers an individual take on event trends and design concepts that derive from her vast travels and exposure to different cultures. This quality and level of experience ensures that each event is unique and relatable. Alexandra is also an avid observer of fashion trends. She has a strong sense of personal style that allows her to offer a fashion element to each of her events.

    Apart from excelling in her career, Alexandra is passionate about life and sharing the most significant moments with those around her. This passion is the root of her ability to relate to each client and each event. Her main pastime is travel as she has visited Finland, Tahiti, Russia, Morocco, Spain, Italy, England, Germany, Mexico, France, Norway, Slovakia, Hungary, Denmark, Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, Greece and many more distant places.

    She also devotes her time to charity. Alexandra helps her Alma matter, Bishop Moore Catholic High School. She is also the senior sponsor for the Junior Civitan Club, which helps the students fulfill their community service hours. Other organizations she is involved in include: American Heart Association, Second Harvest Food Bank, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Ronald McDonald House, Coalition for the Homeless, Boys & Girls Clubs, Florida Hospital and many more.

    Overview

    Ashley and Bryan held their ceremony at Leu Gardens beneath the gorgeous trees. Their guest enjoyed a cocktail hour on the outside patio, of Dubsdread Country Club, before entering the main ballroom for the wedding reception. Mason jars, gorgeous linens and lanterns filled the ballroom. Lee Forrest did a wonderful job hanging orchids from the lanterns that hung from the beams in the ballroom. All the guest enjoyed dancing the night away,and then steeped outside to watch the couple leave in a classic car from Coles Classic Cars. Perfect evening for a perfect couple!

    Overview

    Shana and Barrett had a traditional church ceremony before inviting their guests to The Veranda in Thorton Park. Shana had a great collection of mason jars, Coca Cola Classic bottles, and crates that were full of flowers from In Bloom. This outdoor reception was gorgeous with its color palette of purple, blush pink and a touch of light green. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their dresses from Bella Bridesmaids; the groomsmen wore seersucker suits. The guest enjoyed dancing but especially the yummy cake from Party Flavors. We wish this couple the best; they were such a pleasure to work with.

    Overview

    Lauren and Patrick held their ceremony and reception at Casa Feliz; it was stunning. Lee Forrest did a wonderful job decorating the ceremony space in front of the historic home. Their color palette complemented the venue well with navy blue, blush pink and green. The cocktail hour was personalizedwith chevron straws and custom cocktail napkins. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple chose to have the Yum-Yum Truck come by to serve the guests cupcakes. This wedding was adorable and so was the couple!

    Overview

    Nicole and Tom held their ceremony and reception at Bella Collina in Montverde, FL. The outdoor ceremony looked amazing thanks to Petals by Design,and their giant urns filled with blue hydrangeas. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their navy blue Amsale dresses from Bella bridesmaids; the bride wore a Priscilla of Boston gown. Guest enjoyed music from A-List Entertainment as they danced in the main foyer of the venue, by the fountain. This was a fun wedding for a fun couple!

    The VUE

    Overview

    Lauren and Richard’s ceremony and reception were held at The VUE in downtown Orlando. The club room space was transformed into a modern wedding reception space with paper lanterns and lots of candles. There ceremony was held by the pool on the 7th floor overlooking Lake Eola. The food was delicious thanks to Puff n’ Stuff Catering. The bride and groom exited under an archway of sparklers, fabulous exit!

    Overview

    Kristen and TJ had a traditional church ceremony, at First United Methodist church, in downtown Orlando. A Lilly Pulitzer inspired reception was held at the Country Club of Orlando. The bride’s choice of vibrant colors included pink, green and orange with a touch of teal added in. Anna Cakes provided the wedding cake that had teal details. The bridesmaids Lilly Pulitzer dresses in teal and gold complemented the décor. Personal touches were added throughout the reception including custom embossed cocktail napkins, and monogrammed cards which were placed at each place setting. The wedding was perfectly preppy!

    Overview

    Janelle and Louis’ traditional church ceremony was held at the Knowles Chapel, at Rollins College, in Winter Park. A custom tent to accommodate the 220 guest was installed at the bride’s family home to make use of the lakeside view as a backdrop for the reception. Czes-Heard Floral Design used succulents and billy balls in the centerpieces and floral bouquets. Mahogany chivari chairs from Orlando Wedding & Party Rental were perfect for the setting. Guests enjoyed a fabulous dinner catered by Moore Fine Foods prior to enjoying the departure of the couple by boat, after crossing through a tunnel of sparklers onto the dock.

    Overview

    The ceremony and reception for Glenda and Chuck were held at Rix Lounge located at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. This couple was looking for everything but a traditional wedding and this locale proved to be the perfect spot. Greenery Productions used ivory drapery and pink floral centerpieces to soften the lounge feel. Guests enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres and a delicious cake from Party Flavors.

    Overview

    Destiny and Rob held their ceremony and reception at the I.W. Phillips house located at the Courtyard, at Lake Lucerne. The bridesmaids wore black dresses from Solutions Bridal, a perfect choice for the black, white and purple color palette selected for the wedding. Lee Forrest hung drapery down on the main porch, for the ceremony, which was showcased by purple up lighting behind the draping. Their custom wedding cake included a replica of their little doxen puppies. The groom in the meantime was surprised by his groom’s cake adorned with a Giants’ helmet. As guests departed they received delicious cookie favors from Cookie Cousins.
